Branka Mrduljaš, a doctoral researcher, completed two research visits to strengthen her materials-characterisation skills.

From 26 May to 6 June 2025, she visited TU Darmstadt in Germany, working with Professor Ukrainczyk and developing her expertise in scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDS). From 22 to 25 July 2025, she visited ZAG in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where she continued SEM-EDS training with Professor Zalar Serjun and gained further experience with inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES).

Supported through the Croatian Science Foundation’s ReWire project and a mobility programme, these visits helped expand the researcher’s analytical toolkit and fostered links between research institutions.
