Carbon storage in net zero construction products

We would like to thank everyone for their interest in our Summer School on Carbon storage in net zero construction products, which will take place from May 26-29, 2025 on the island Zlarin, Croatia. We truly appreciate all the applications we received and the enthusiasm for our program.

The doctoral school is organised in the framework of the ASCCENT project, a twinning project between the University of Zagreb (Croatia), KU Leuven (Belgium), Aalborg University (Denmark), RISE (Sweden) and Holcim (France). The school will focus on topics of mineral carbonation, LCA and the industry perspectives for net zero construction products.

Through a series of lectures, hands-on workshops and discussions, early-stage researchers will gain valuable insights into cutting-edge technologies, policy frameworks and real-world applications that are driving the transition to a low-carbon built environment.

We look forward to welcoming you to Zlarin!
